WHAT IS MYOSIMPLE
An appliance that supports growth, helps rehabilitate orofacial functions, and facilitates orthodontic treatment.
MyoSimple is a myofunctional appliance designed to improve oral-facial functions such as breathing, swallowing, and tongue posture at an early stage.
During childhood and adolescence, certain orofacial functions may be disrupted. These dysfunctions can affect skeletal development of the face, sleep, posture, tooth alignment, and occlusal balance.
The MyoSimple appliance is also useful for ensuring a smooth, simple, effective transition without relapse between an initial orthopaedic treatment phase and a subsequent orthodontic phase.
By intervening early, MyoSimple helps prevent or intercept malocclusions by facilitating nasal breathing and redirecting labial, lingual, and buccal muscle pressures. It thus prepares and facilitates orthodontic treatment.
The appliance is worn primarily at night and—as recommended by a doctor or therapist—for a few hours during the day, especially during quiet activities such as reading, studying, traveling, or using a screen.
The average treatment time is 6 to 12 months.

It has been specifically designed to:

Promote correct tongue positioning through a specific
lingual ramp that helps the opening of upper airways.
Protect mucosa and prevent irritation of the gums, cheeks, and lips thanks to the precise reduction of vestibular flaps height.
Allow mandibular positioning while maintaining natural muscular pressure on the lower arch.
It is recommended to use MyoSimple with the FroggyMouth appliance.
