D-bar<\/strong> is designed to optimize the molar relationship by minimizing canine over-extrusion<\/strong>, with a highly aesthetic design for improved comfort and reduced treatment times.<\/p>

D-bar is a device that offers a quick and effective solution for Class II malocclusions, both in patients with primary, permanent, or mixed dentition. Preferably used at the beginning of treatment for distalization of molars and premolars.<\/p>

D-bar can be used alone or in combination with other commercially available devices such as aligners, brackets or other fixed orthodontic devices<\/strong>.<\/p>

By placing it on the lower arch, the D-bar also helps with in Class III resolution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How to use?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Once the most suitable D-bar size has been selected<\/strong>, bond the molar socket onto the upper molar (or on the premolar if required).

Insert the bar into the molar socket until the round end disappears completely<\/strong>, then proceed to bond the other end on the canine (or on the premolar if required). On the lower molar or bicuspid, bond an auxiliary device<\/strong> (tube or lingual button) and connect it to the bar’s hook<\/strong> with an intra-oral elastic.<\/p>

After Class II or Class III has been solved, it is possible to remove D-bar.<\/strong><\/p>

D-bar is universal and has two components<\/strong>, a molar socket and a bar, supplied unassembled.<\/p>

It is possible to easily replace just the bar<\/strong> or change its size during therapy if the clinical conditions require it. This feature makes D-bar flexible, reducing and simplifying the clinic’s inventory.<\/p>

D-bar can also be integrated into the digital workflow<\/strong> and placed by the indirect bonding procedure; in fact, using two separate components makes it possible to incorporate the device into templates or transfer jigs.<\/p>

D-bar is made entirely with MIM technology in 17-4 steel<\/strong>; the retentive base is made with a high-frequency laser system for excellent resistance to detachment. Any orthodontic adhesive can be used.<\/p>

D-bar is available in one-millimeter increments in twelve sizes<\/strong>, from size 16 to 27.<\/p>

Measurement identification is easy and fast, thanks to laser marking.<\/p>
